Virtual Baseball Academy

Mission

The goal of Complete Game Virtual Baseball Academy is to provide an alternative program to traditional baseball academies (off-season developmental programming) that can be tailored to the needs of specific families and players who for various reasons choose not to enrole in a traditional academy program. This program strives to deliver the following for student-athletes and their families looking for an option to the traditional baseball academy program:

  1. Remove the financial burden to communicate and interact with professional instruction and guidance.
  2. Remove the geographical restrictions especially for players living in rural and outlying communities.
  3. Provide student-athletes with enhanced baseball development.
  4. Provide student-athletes with resources in the areas of athletic nutrition and strength & conditioning.
  5. Provide student-athletes and their families with assistance and placement services in pursuing college baseball opportunities.
  6. Provide student-athletes with life skills and lessons through sport to increase overall success in all future life endeavors.

In Alberta, the typical traditional academy programs range in annual costs from $2,500 to over $10,000. In addition, families from outside of the area are then expected to pay housing fees ranging from $3,500-5,000 per school year as the student-athletes are required to live within the academy's community and often must attend a specific school that is run by or partners with the academy program. Obviously this structure is not appropriate or possible for many families and Complete Game Virtual Baseball Academy provides a cost effective and convenient structure for developmental baseball programming.
